My Memories of Mr. Dosser

MY MEMORIES OF MR. DOSSER

Mr. Dosser, in his many years as Headmaster of Laceby Stanford Charity School earned a great deal of respect from parents & pupils alike. He was a modest, cheerful man & a strict disciplinarian, well known for his prowess with the cane which was administered without predudice or malice. Many a stroke was aimed at the backside of one of his favourite pupils Torn Blythe sometimes for no other reason than that the opportunity presented itself. It was usually followed by some jocular remark.

He was certainly a character in his own right. Joviality and good humour seemed to follow him around - truly a great man.

Caistor.
